FUNDAMENTAL

            There is a reason that the word ‘Mental’ is attached to the word fundamental. Mental in the sense of ‘nuts’. Just how it was used when I was a wayward delinquent in elementary school. “Dude, you’re fucking mental!”

            Two fundamental Christians just came to my door not fifteen minutes ago. They had already stopped by a few weeks ago but they had forgotten that I had already spoken with them. One of the guys had that look in his eyes. You know, that strange, crazy look. That unhealthy zeal. That contempt just below the surface sort of thing.

            Anyone that must ask for money in order to keep their organization afloat is already on the wrong track. Go out, work hard with both mind and hands and then maybe you can devote your life to your passion. Just like all the rest of us.

            There’s something fundamentally wrong with being fundamental about anything.

            I will not give any money to a person claiming to know God better than the next guy.

            I will not Fund A Mental!
